Support for anxiety, grief, and patterns that feel hard to shift

Biofield Tuning sessions in Seattle, grounded in over 25 years of supporting people through grief, loss, and life transitions

You’re welcome to begin with a free 15-minute conversation

Many people who come to this have already tried to understand or work through what they’re feeling—
and still, something lingers.

You may already have insight. You may have put words to it.
But the feeling itself hasn’t fully shifted.

This offers a different way in—one that works more directly with what’s held in the body, without needing to talk it through or explain it.

"At the end of each session, I feel lighter, and more balanced both physically and emotionally"

Meet Arissa

Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner

For more than 25 years, I’ve supported people through grief, loss, relationship changes, and times of transition.

This has taken many forms: as a ceremony guide, a relationship coach, and through one-on-one and group work, including grief support, mediation, and facilitated spaces for reflection and connection.

Again and again, I’ve seen how powerful it is to have a space where you can slow down, feel what’s present, and not have to carry it alone.

My work with Biofield Tuning grew out of this same foundation. I was drawn to its quiet, non-verbal way of working—one that doesn’t require you to explain or figure things out, but instead supports your system in settling and reorganizing at its own pace.

Across all of my work, what matters most to me is creating an environment that feels calm, grounded, and deeply respectful of where you are. There’s to have the “right” words—just an opportunity to come as you are and allow things to shift from there.

Many of the people I work with are moving through periods of change—grief, relationship transitions, stress, or a general sense of something feeling unsettled. This work can offer a way to gently support those experiences, creating more space, clarity, and ease over time.

There’s nothing you need to arrive with—just a willingness to meet what’s there.

I would be honored to support you.

Testimonials

Having had several Biofield Tuning sessions with Arissa, I can say each experience has been unique while all of them have been restorative. It's clear that Arissa put a lot of thought into the design of her treatment space, and her presence and voice are filled with compassion.

Arissa is a skilled practitioner which helps me fall into it. I love how relaxed I become while also witnessing energy move throughout my body. I will continue with tuning sessions, and I highly recommend it, and Arissa.

What I Can Help With

Why Biofield Tuning

Biofield Tuning is a sound-based practice that works on and around the body. Using tuning forks, we work with areas of tension or holding in the system, gently supporting them to release and reorganize over time.

Most people experience sessions as deeply settling. They can help quiet the nervous system and soften areas of tension.

Some people notice a shift right away. For others, the changes unfold more gradually.

Over time, this often leads to a greater sense of ease, clarity, and feeling more like yourself again.

This work may be a good fit if you recognize yourself in any of the following:

FAQ

What to expect

We begin with a brief conversation about what’s going on for you and what you’d like support with. From there, you’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while I work on and around the body using tuning forks.

There’s nothing you need to do. Most people simply relax, and often notice their mind becoming quieter and their body settling as the session unfolds.

Afterward, we take a few minutes to check in and talk about anything you noticed or experienced. Some people notice shifts right away, while for others the changes unfold more gradually over time.

Sessions are 75–90 minutes, allowing for a slower, more spacious process.

FAQ's

Questions you may have as you consider whether this feels right for you

What actually happens during a session? Sessions are gentle and non-invasive. You’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while I work with tuning forks on and around the body. Some forks are placed directly on the body, though much of the work happens in the space around it. Most people experience this as deeply relaxing—some notice sensations or movement, while others simply rest. Sessions last 75–90 minutes and are offered in person (West Seattle) or remotely.

How many sessions do people usually need? It varies. A single session can be meaningful on its own, while ongoing work tends to deepen over time. Many people begin with a series of three sessions over a few weeks to support integration and lasting change. From there, some continue regularly, while others come as needed. You’re welcome to decide what feels right for you.

What might I notice after a session? Most people leave feeling calmer, more present, and often “lighter.” Occasionally—especially after the first few sessions—you may notice temporary effects such as fatigue, irritability, or increased sensitivity. These typically pass within a day or so. Giving yourself some quiet time afterward can help your system integrate the work.

Do I need to prepare in any way? Arriving well-hydrated is helpful. You may also want to take a few moments beforehand to reflect on what you’d like support with—whether that’s something you’re hoping to shift, release, or invite into your life. If possible, leave yourself some space afterward rather than jumping straight back into a busy schedule.

Is this work safe for everyone? This work is gentle and supportive for many people. If you’re navigating a serious or complex medical condition, you’re welcome to reach out so we can talk together about whether it feels like a good fit.
