A gentle approach to restoring balance
Most people experience this work as deeply relaxing. It can help quiet the nervous system and gently shift areas of tension or holding. Using tuning forks, I work on and around the body to support its natural ability to come back into balance. Over time, this can create more ease, clarity, and a greater sense of wellbeing.

What to expect
We begin with a brief conversation about what’s going on for you and what you’d like support with. From there, you’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while I work on and around the body using tuning forks.
There’s nothing you need to do. Most people simply relax, and often notice their mind becoming quieter and their body settling as the session unfolds.
Afterward, we take a few minutes to check in and talk about anything you noticed or experienced. Some people notice shifts right away, while for others the changes unfold more gradually over time.

Meet Arissa
Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner
For more than 25 years, I’ve been supporting people through some of life’s most meaningful and difficult moments—grief, loss, relationship changes, and times of transition.
This has taken many forms: as a wedding and memorial celebrant, a relationship coach, and through one-on-one and group work, including grief support, mediation, and facilitated spaces for reflection and connection.
Again and again, I’ve seen how powerful it is to have a space where you can slow down, feel what’s present, and not have to carry it alone.
My work with Biofield Tuning grew out of this same foundation. I was drawn to its quiet, non-verbal way of working—one that doesn’t require you to explain or figure things out, but instead supports your system in settling and reorganizing at its own pace.
Across all of my work, what matters most to me is creating an environment that feels calm, grounded, and deeply respectful of where you are. There’s to have the “right” words—just an opportunity to come as you are and allow things to shift from there.
Many of the people I work with are moving through periods of change—grief, relationship transitions, stress, or a general sense of something feeling unsettled. This work can offer a way to gently support those experiences, creating more space, clarity, and ease over time.
You don’t need to know exactly what’s going on or how to describe it—only that something is asking for attention.
I would be honored to support you.

FAQ's
Questions you may have
What is A Biofield Tuning session like? Sessions are gentle and non-invasive. You’ll lie fully clothed on a treatment table while I work on and around the body using tuning forks. Some forks are placed on the body, though much of the work happens in the Biofield—the space that extends several feet beyond the physical body. As I listen for areas of tension or incoherence, I stay with them until they begin to settle and shift. People experience this in different ways. You might notice sensations such as warmth, tingling, or movement of emotion or energy. Some people don’t notice much during the session at all. Most find it deeply relaxing—many even fall asleep. Sessions are 75–90 minutes and are offered in person (West Seattle) or remotely.
How will I feel afterward? Most people leave feeling calmer, more present, and often “lighter.” Occasionally—especially after the first few sessions—you may notice temporary effects such as fatigue, irritability, or increased sensitivity. These typically passes within a day or so. Drinking water, resting, and allowing some quiet time afterward can help your system integrate the work.
How can I prepare for my session? Arriving well-hydrated is helpful. You may also want to take a few moments beforehand to reflect on what you’re wanting support with—whether that’s something you’d like to shift, release, or invite into your life. If possible, leave yourself a little space afterward rather than jumping straight back into a busy schedule. Many people appreciate having time to rest or be quiet as the effects continue to unfold.
How many sessions should I have? While a single session can be relaxing and informative, this work tends to deepen over time. Many people begin with a series of three sessions over a few weeks to support integration and lasting change. From there, some continue regularly, while others come as needed. You’re welcome to decide what feels right for you. If you choose to continue after your first session, packages are available at a reduced rate.
Is there anything else I should know? This work is gentle and supportive for many people. If you’re navigating a serious or complex medical condition, you’re welcome to reach out so we can talk together about whether this feels like a good fit.
